Student Census Coming Soon!

Student Census

“Getting to know our students better will allow us to remove barriers and address gaps to help them succeed,” says Superintendent of Education Michele Babcock. “This identity-based data will help us help students reach their full potential while supporting their learning, emotional, mental and physical needs. Ideally, this work will help us to ensure every student sees themselves in Limestone.”

Based on public consultations and family and community feedback, the confidential census will now include all students in Kindergarten to Grade 12.

The census, which will be completed during class time for students in Grades 4 to 12 (for both in-class and virtual learners), will ask students a variety of questions around their identity and demographics. Families of students in Kindergarten to Grade 3 will be asked to complete a survey for each primary student.
